This simple phrase does mean a lot to the novice programmer. It marks the achievement for the IT student to have passed the first hurdle of understanding the complexity of the programming language and creating the simplest form of a program that can display a sequence of characters on the screen. Such is the relief that I am currently savoring for being to able to produce at last a blog and contribute pieces of knowledge and experience for the cyber community.

How can etniesfa.blogspot.com make your life colorful? Not much I’m afraid, if you are not into the themes that I plan to aggregate in this blog. This blog is first and foremost apolitical. I am more interested in discussing academic issues in the domains that I feel comfortable with and in those that I am trying to explore. I may not be the paragon expert in these domains, but being able to spur discussions and thoughts would suffice for my blogging mission. In a way I get to share what I think, and I get to learn from feedbacks with those who may engage.

This blog would most probably touch upon 3 themes: EE & telecom engineering, telecom industry, and MBA. Hah! I heard that. You said, “Who the heck would want to read engineering articles, serious stuff on telecoms, and boring essays on management? I’d rather read some other blogs written by cute chicks displaying nuffnang and advertlet banners or channel my anger towards the system by spamming comments in political blogs. This is a blog for nerds.”

If you are looking for ramblings of some cute amois, find a few here.

pic: Cute amoi (image courtesy of the owner)

However, if you’ve had enough dose of the above for today and would like to study on your EE or MBA subjects for the semester, or if you would like to seek technical insights, analysis and thoughts for telco related matters, then you have stepped into the right parlor. I must be really optimist to spend my time writing serious articles and hope for audience to find my blog from google search and indulge in reading my lecture-like essays. Honestly, I am honoring my subconscious call to contribute some reading content for certain underserved market, which I was once part of, which consists of young struggling EE students finding comprehensible elaboration on EE subjects such as electromagnetism (did I hear yuck? Shame on you, without the Maxwell Equation you would never get to yak with your girlfriends), engineers doing MBA who are having a hard time to swallow the reality behind why CFOs love to restrict the budget for technical departments, and fresh telecom engineers who could not find reader-friendly technical resources to quickly develop their competency to meet urgent job expectation. Therefore this is the mission of this blog. I am the person with that mission.

To be truthful, there might not be many pure EE articles here compared to those for MBA and the industry as it has been a while since I have left the lecture hall, where my professors have let their voices carrying rich harmonies of knowledge linger within its walls (leaving us inundated by the complexity of information encapsulated inside their modulating stories).

For the hopeful EE students, bear this in mind: you may not be reusing back the theories and the wonderful mathematical equations used to describe those theories unless you work in the RND or Design, but you must make sure to have at least developed the engineering ‘analytical’ mindset when approaching problems, and be capable of resolving them with elegant calculative approach.

For MBA hopefuls, lets go through the journey together.

The first cyber words of etniesfa

This is the beginning.
